Diet Sodas Make People FAT

Do diet soda's make people fat? That is what the NaturalHealth Community is trying to plaster all over with new statistics showing that people who drink diet soda's are more obese than those who drink regular soda's... ... ... seems legit right?

NO!! If you are getting a little chubby, and want to reduce your caloric intake in a very easy way, the first thing you turn to is your soda!!! and guess what, Soda isn't the major cause of obesity!! It is true that New York thinks this is the case, but its not. You will gain more weight eating a supply of carbohydrates from donuts than drinking a large soda. A soda has sugars that are more easily converted into energy than the Carbs in a donut. Your body will use up the energy that is easier to get ahold of first. Its the slowly digested Carbs that will end up getting placed on the back burner and right into the back fat. I digress

Fat people drink diet soda's because they don't want to be fat. Skinny people drink regular soda because they don't need to worry about their weight, and lets be honest, if you had a choice between diet and regular you would prefer the taste of regular any day.

So these statistics are merely supporting the fact that fat people want to lose weight, and thus drink diet soda. The soda doesn't make people overweight; Overweight people make a market for diet soda.

If you got rid of diet soda, people would still get FAT. If you got rid of FAT, nobody would drink diet soda.
